The library is very popular with children and young people and the successful candidate will have experience of and enjoy working with them. Regular tasks include leading Bookbug song and rhyme sessions, sensory story times, code clubs and other groups for children and families.
Libraries are warm spaces within local communities and offer opportunities to reduce social isolation by providing a welcoming atmosphere as well as group activities for adults.
