This post is being re-advertised. Previous unsuccessful candidates need not re-apply.

East Lothian Council is seeking a Senior Project Officer to take a lead role to deliver a number of elements of our digital transformation programme. This includes:

  • delivery of recommendations from a review of system administration where the vision is to optimise these functions across the council;
  • supporting the work of the digital pipeline prioritisation programme along with key stakeholders across the council and central teams including IT and the Improvement Team; and
  • taking forward and developing an action plan aimed to increase the data maturity across the council with an initial focus on how data could be used to predict need in children before they reach a level of vulnerability that requires additional or targeted support.

The post will require the ability to work individually, as a member of a team and facilitate meetings with a number of key stakeholders across the organisation at all levels.

We would be happy to consider a secondment to the post.
