Hourly rate of pay: £25.21 - £28.15
The pay scale for this post is £46,006 - £51,371. Consideration will be given to place the successful candidate on higher point of the advertised salary scale, depending on relevant experience and transferable skills.

Temporary for 18 months.

You will be suitably educated to minimum HNC/SVQ Level 2 in Civil Engineering or related discipline and/or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through significant relevant experience.

You will guide the establishment of a Sustainable Travel Team with a focus on attracting external funding and delivering Active and Sustainable Travel projects in alignment with the Local Transport Strategy. You will be business and customer focused with a demonstrable record of identifying opportunities, achieving outcomes, managing change, and exercising strong leadership skills. You will be self-motivated with a flexible and collaborative approach to work and have the ability to cope with multiple and changing demands whilst meeting tight deadlines.

You will have a good understanding and knowledge of transportation policy, legislation, and initiatives at local, regional, and national levels.

With excellent organisational and IT skills, you will be able to utilise various Microsoft Office packages, and be a clear written and verbal communicator, with the ability to analyse information and produce reports and with experience of presenting information in public forums.

Please Note:

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications
