Job Details

Overseeing the operational delivery of the Property Maintenance service including property inspections, responsive repairs, planned improvements, minor building projects, void property turnaround and out-of-hours standby.

Ensuring the Property Maintenance trading activity remains a financially viable entity by continually optimising labour, plant and material resources to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of operations across all the main service functions.

Ensuring all Property Maintenance operations deliver a high standard of customer satisfaction by delivering a professional and high-quality repairs and maintenance service.

Assisting the Service Manager in the allocation and monitoring of the HRA repairs and Property Maintenance trading activity budgets.

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications
A degree in either Housing, Surveying, built Environment, Facilities Management and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through previous management experience in a building maintenance, construction or ‘hard’ facilities management environment.

Driving Licence
A full current driving licence is desirable for this post.

Level 1 Disclosure Clearance
This role requires Level 1 Disclosure Clearance to allow access to the Public Sector Network. ELC will submit a Police Act Disclosure application on behalf of the preferred candidate and receipt of the subsequent certificate will be required prior to commencement.
