We have a post available to work within an integrated health and social care, alcohol and drug recovery service (ADRS) and Community Recovery Team. You will work within the Community Recovery Team providing a range of treatment and life options to individuals affected by alcohol and drug use in order to assist them in their recovery. In order to accomplish this you will be required to work closely with the (ADRS) General Practitioners and local employability services. You will also be required to provide support to Families affected by alcohol and drug use.

Experience of working within alcohol and drug services, undertaking assessments, care planning and a working knowledge of recovery from drugs and alcohol is essential. You will also have good written and verbal communication skills and be competent in the use of IT packages.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with children and protected adults. In addition to this, if you have lived or worked in any country outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check.
