An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Council’s Building Standards Service. You will be responsible for implementing all aspects of the Building Standards Service within the Environment Department. You will assist the Principal and Senior Building Standards Officers in dealing with a wide range of building warrants, completion certificates, letters of comfort, plan vetting, site visits, enforcement and compliance work. We ask that you bring excellent communication skills, be highly organised and have the passion and experience to deliver results. You will ensure continuous improvement and efficiency, a positive and flexible organisational culture and promote an innovative and collaborative way of working and a partnership approach to service delivery.
