We have permanent opportunities in our Care At Home team in an exciting new role, where you will lead and support a team of reablement homecare support workers. This role gives you the chance to make a real and positive impact on people’s lives and is vital in ensuring the delivery of a high standard of care to the people who use our service.
You will get the chance to directly line manage and mentor a community based team within the East Renfrewshire area and ensuring staff are supported to undertake regular training and development essential to their roles and SSSC registration.
A key element of this role will also include the reviewing and monitoring of care plans, ensuring an appropriate level of service delivery meets all individual assessed needs. This includes taking a person centred approach and being outcomes focused, reflecting the Health and Social Care Standards, My Support, My life.
We need someone who has a good knowledge and understanding of resource management within social care setting, including an awareness of the current challenges and pressures, whilst being able to effectively identify and implement solutions and positive outcomes relating to delivery of care.
You will need to be resilient and will get the chance to demonstrate your integrity, positive leadership, good communication, problem solving and motivational skills as well as your ability to harness effective team working, nurture your staff and maintain confidentiality and professional standards.
SSSC registration is required for this post and should be undertaken within the first 3 months of employment.
