East Renfrewshire Council is seeking a talented and driven Marketing Officer to join our Communications team. This is permanent position is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering insight-led, impactful marketing activity that supports our strategic priorities and enhances engagement with our communities.

You will plan and deliver integrated campaigns that raise awareness of council services. Working closely with colleagues across services, you will provide expert marketing advice, ensuring all activity is targeted, measurable and aligned to corporate objectives.

A key aspect of the role is acting as a guardian of the Council’s brand. You will help strengthen and protect our corporate identity by ensuring consistent application across all campaigns, channels and materials. This includes developing brand guidelines, toolkits and templates, and working collaboratively with design and communications colleagues to deliver high-quality, on-brand outputs.

You will also lead on audience insight and campaign evaluation, using data, user research and analytics to continuously improve performance and identify new opportunities.

We are looking for a proactive and creative marketing professional with strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality campaigns that make a difference.
