The post holder will support St Luke’s High School, Barrhead by providing a comprehensive Multimedia Technician service. This will include undertaking first line maintenance, triage repair service and management for all multimedia related equipment such as Promethean ActivPanels, Projectors, non- Windows devices (e.g. Apple devices/ Chromebooks) and school sound systems.

In addition, the post holder will contribute to the Education Department’s wider digital ambitions, supporting staff within educational establishments with the management of innovative and exciting digital teaching and learning resources.

An HNC equivalent in a multimedia related subject is essential and an advanced qualification would be desirable.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with children. In addition to this, if you have lived or worked in any country outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check.
