We have an exciting permanent opportunity to join our fast-paced Neighbourhood Services Team.

Please note fitness to drive is an essential requirement of the role and if you are made a conditional offer of employment, you will be required to take a form to your GP to verify your fitness to drive group 2 (category C/D) vehicles. You will be liable to pay any fees charged by your GP for completing the form.

As an integral member of the Neighbourhood Services Team, you will be responsible for delivering front-line services to the residents of East Renfrewshire in the areas of Cleansing, Street Cleaning, Bulk Uplift, Transport, Parks, Roads and Winter Gritting.

You will be responsible for undertaking the safe operation and driving duties in support of Neighbourhood Services functions including Refuse Vehicles, Tractors, Tractor Mounted Equipment, Trucks, Quads, Mechanical Sweeping Vehicles, Street Cleaning Vehicles, Category C LGVs and Vans.

You will be expected operate across the full range and remit of Neighbourhood Services in terms of providing effective, modern front-line services to the residents of East Renfrewshire.
