We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual for a key and challenging opportunity within a sector-leading education authority. The post is in our quality improvement team - a service which is focused on improving the life chances and learning experiences for all our learners.

As a quality improvement officer in East Renfrewshire you will work in a highly experienced, well-proven, skilled, and dynamic team and will link with a number of schools to offer them support and challenge to improve continuously all aspects of their work. You will contribute to a wide-ranging portfolio of strategic and operational support to schools and will be involved in driving the department’s response to key national and local policies and priorities such as the National Improvement Framework, Parental Involvement Act and Curriculum for Excellence.

Accustomed to team working you will have a good working knowledge of current national and local educational priorities. Recent experience of school / departmental management and working with partnership services and agencies is highly desirable.

The successful applicant will be ambitious, creative, innovative, capable of working effectively under pressure and committed to providing a quality service.
