We have an exciting permanent opportunity to join our Health and Social Care Partnership, Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service. friendly and supportive team.

As a Senior Alcohol and Drug Recovery Officer leading and supporting young people and adults.  As part of this role, you will be responsible for directly providing a range of treatment services to individuals affected by alcohol and drug use as well as facilitate the provision of other treatment services where appropriate.

As a Senior ADRS Officer you will have experience of providing recovery orientated systems of care (ROSC) within an integrated service. You can demonstrate experience of improving engagement of individuals with complex multiple needs who are less likely to engage with specialist ROSC services and are at most risk of developing acute illness and early death. 

You will have knowledge of alcohol and drug policy, strategies and approaches as well as public protection in relation to adults and children.  You will provide a Senior ADRS Officer role within the ADRS with specifically focused on working with young people age 16-25 and adults, linking with other services within the Health and Social Care Partnership and appropriate wider partners.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.  It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with children and protected adults.  In addition to this, if you have lived or worked in any country outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check.
