We have an exciting permanent opportunity to join our busy Development Management team in a Senior Planner role. You will support the Principal Planner in managing the work and priorities of the team and in dealing with a range of more complex planning applications.  As part of this role, you will be responsible for processing major and local planning applications and assisting the Principal Planner with signing out decisions and allocating workloads. 

We need someone who has full membership of the RTPI and demonstrable relevant experience in a planning environment. You will have effective people management skills and highly developed written, verbal and numeracy skills.

Ideally, the successful post holder will also have an ability to manage different priorities in a multi-disciplined service

*Hybrid employees are considered workplace based first, but they will have a level of flexibility to work from home up to 40% of their working week, if it is not to the detriment of their current tasks, team requirements or service needs.
