We are looking to recruit to our Children and Families Community Team which promotes a strengths based, family minded approach. We seek individuals and motivated social workers with a variety of experiences to help us deliver excellence for our children, young people and their families.

Whether you have been qualified for a number of years and keen for a new challenge or you are newly qualified and are bringing skills and experiences from your own life and learning. It takes many different skills and knowledge to build great teams, genuine relationships and values that are aligned to authentic co-production.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.  It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with children and protected adults.  In addition to this, if you have lived or worked in any country outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check. 

If you are not currently registered with SSSC you will commence employment as a Social Work Assistant (Grade 7 - £29,745 to £31,954) until full registration is obtained.

The successful candidate will be required to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
