East Renfrewshire Council’s Roads & Transportation Service is looking to recruit a committed individual for the position of Technical Officer.
The post will be responsible for the preparation and issue to competitive tender of carriageway and footway resurfacing schemes, tender evaluation, supervision of the works on site and payments to contractors.
The post will work closely with various stakeholders within the Service and across the Environment Department together with external stakeholders.
Depending upon the needs of the service, staff in Hybrid roles will typically work from home for up to 40-60% of the time where the needs of the service can still be met.
