The Roads Service is seeking a suitably experienced and enthusiastic individual to join their Traffic and Transportation Team.
You will have specific roads related experience and may be educated to HNC/Diploma level in an appropriate discipline and have knowledge in a number of the following disciplines: parking, surveys, active travel, traffic signals, traffic signs, road safety, pedestrian crossings, traffic calming, road markings and development control.
The successful applicant is expected to have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines as part of a team or on their own initiative. It would be advantageous for candidates to have a local authority background.
Depending upon the needs of the service, staff in Hybrid roles will typically work from home for up to 40-60% of the time where the needs of the service can still be met.
