We have an exciting permanent opportunity to join our creative and inspiring Communities and Arts team, as a Visual Arts Tutor to engage East Renfrewshire residents with the arts. As part of this role you will be responsible for delivering our regular programme of Visual Arts classes and workshops to participants of all ages and skills, as well as at one-off events and project activities.

We need someone who is an enthusiastic and confident communicator with a Degree level qualification in a visual arts discipline or is educated to HND level with equivalent relevant experience (minimum 3 years). They must be able to work independently to deliver workshops in a range of visual arts disciplines (such as, but not limited to, painting, textiles, animation etc.) and to a variety of participants. They should also be flexible to work evenings and weekends as required across locations in East Renfrewshire.

Ideally the successful post holder will also have experience of tailoring workshops to specific topics or themes, and delivering to participants with various abilities and needs.
