We are looking for registered social workers to join our Justice Service in Falkirk as Advanced Practitioners. You will need to have a minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience working within a justice services social work setting. You will have significant experience of the case management of individuals subject to community-based orders and licences, be a proficient report writer with a proven ability to assess and manage risk. You must have a good knowledge of the legislation and guidance relating to justice services and be accredited in the use of all the current risk assessment tools.
Applications are welcomed from experienced registered Social Workers who meet our Advanced Practitioner criteria:
- Minimum 3 years post qualifying experience, accompanied by
- Evidence of Post Graduate Qualification, or
- Evidence of additional learning and development*, and
- Management of Complex Cases
*commitment to undertake Post Graduate Qualification if successful
This is based on a Social Worker committed to practicing at a higher level of competence derived from the accumulation of experience, level of expertise (academic and developmental) and the ability to confidently engage with situations that present greater risk and complexity. Supporting others to develop their knowledge and skills is also key to this role.
