Falkirk Council is seeking to recruit an experienced and motivated Business Adviser to join the Business Gateway team to provide a range of high quality business advice, guidance and support to start ups, and existing businesses in the Falkirk area. Support will include advice on start up, growth, survivability, resilience and diversification. The postholder will also assist with the delivery of grant schemes and other business support programs, and referrals to partner organisations.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, educated to degree level in a relevant business subject, will have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and will have experience of providing advice and support to business owners in the SME space. Well-developed IT and communication skills and the ability to work with minimum supervision is essential.
This post is temporary until March 2027 due to funding.
