Are you a fraud investigator looking for a new challenge? Are you an Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist with experience in fraud investigation? This is a fantastic opportunity for an extremely motivated and proficient investigator to join us. Falkirk Council is looking to appoint a highly motivated Corporate Fraud Investigator to support the delivery of Council-wide counter-fraud arrangements. We are looking for the person with excellent analytical skills, who is adaptable and flexible to different operational demands.

Falkirk Council has a zero tolerance approach to fraud and corruption. The Corporate Fraud Team is an essential part of this approach and our aim is to promote a counter fraud culture across the Council. This includes running proactive awareness campaigns working with internal departments and external partners, assisting on the provision of advice regarding investigations, fraud risk management, and fraud controls including developing good practice.

You will work across the Council and the Integration Joint Board, and report to the Internal Audit, Risk, and Corporate Fraud Manager. You will manage investigations, including writing investigation reports, and support and assist colleagues in their investigations, contributing to the work of the whole team.
