Could you be our next Electrician (BOS) within our Electrical team?
In this role you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving the quality and safety of our council housing stock . you will deliver high quality electrical repairs maintenance and installation work across a wide range of domestic properties.
What we are looking for
The ideal person for this role will be a qualified electrician with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high standards. You should have:
- A recognised electrical apprenticeship (SVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and installation work.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in a construction or maintenance environment.
- A full UK driving licence (essential).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with current regulations (BS 7671).
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently and safely.
- Conduct electrical testing and inspections, producing relevant certification.
- Collaborate with other trades and council staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants, staff, and stakeholders.
