We are recruiting to new roles as part of an exciting partnership test of change to plan, develop and implement a new way of working in our communities.
This is a unique opportunity to be involved in shaping a new approach to early help and crisis response, working collaboratively across services to provide timely, practical support to children, young people, and their families.
You will work directly with families on a planned basis and with those experiencing challenge or crisis, helping them to stabilise, build resilience, and access the right support at the right time. The role requires flexibility and commitment, including some evening and weekend working, to ensure families receive support when they need it most.
We are looking for motivated, skilled practitioners who:
- Are passionate about early intervention and strengths-based practice.
- Can work confidently with families in crisis.
- Can evidence experience of strong partnership working and innovative approaches.
- Are adaptable, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement.
Essential Criteria
- Significant experience of working with children and families impacted by complex challenges.
- Experience of working as part of a team.
- Experience of working in collaboration with partner agencies.
- Ability and experience of working in a flexible and responsive way, adapting to the needs of families and communities.
- Strong values and commitment to anti discriminatory practice.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience of working with communities.
- Local knowledge of current services would be beneficial.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.
