Could you be our next Graduate within our Roads Maintenance Client team?
In this role you will support the coordination and communication of planned road and utility works by engaging regularly with Elected Members, bus operators, contractors and community councils. You will help manage the flow of information by creating monthly newsletter updates for Roads Services, responding to public enquiries and assisting with the organisation of the Winter Warden Scheme. You will also play a key part in coordinating road works for both utility companies and internal council teams, attending site meetings and representing the Council in discussions relating to road activity.
In addition, you will take responsibility for monitoring and running the Roads X social media page to keep stakeholders updated, and assist with analysing the Council’s road work performance. Your work will support effective communication, smooth delivery of works and the overall performance of Falkirk Council’s road network.
What we are looking for…
The ideal person for this role will be proactive, adaptable, and committed to making a positive impact in their work. You will have a HND or above in Communications or Civil Engineering.
