Could you be our next Graduate based within our Social Work Services Workforce Development Team?

In this role you will support the Falkirk Trauma Responsive Implementation Network to embed whole‑system cultural, practice, and process change in line with the Scottish Government’s ambition for trauma‑informed and trauma‑responsive services. Working closely with local Trauma Lead Officers, the post gathers learning from local and national Improvement Service activity to understand conditions that enable sustainable change and to progress actions across short, medium, and long‑term priorities. You will spend dedicated time across HSCP and specific Council services, conducting research and collaborating with staff to understand context and drive cross‑service improvement. Key tasks include developing a communication plan, establishing feedback loops, evaluating activity, analysing data, producing reports for varied audiences, and exploring meaningful, appropriately remunerated engagement opportunities for people with lived experience of trauma.

What we are looking for…

The ideal person for this role will have a clear commitment to trauma‑informed values, adaptability and an inclusive approach to engaging people with lived experience. You will hold a Degree level qualification or above in any of the following subjects - Social Science, Social Policy, Psychology, Public Health, Health and Social Care, History, Philosophy, Community Development, Community Education, Learning and Development.
