To work in our Sports Development team, we are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals, who will deliver fun, safe and engaging sport specific sessions, to the young people involved in our Sport Development coaching program.
As a Head Coach, your role is all about leading the delivery of a creative, fun and structured coaching session. We are looking for great people, who naturally have these qualities. Your role will also involve inspiring active life’s and motivating young people to develop their sporting skills, support and mentor our assistant and volunteers’ coaches and promote the benefits of an active healthy lifestyle through sport.
You will oversee and support coaching delivery within:
- Athletics
- Football
- Gymnastics
- Tennis
Our programmes operate at a range of venues throughout Falkirk, providing opportunities for children and young people to participate, develop skills and enjoy sport within their local communities. Coaching sessions are delivered 7 days per week, including evenings and weekends, offering a varied and rewarding working environment.
We are looking for candidates who hold the relevant qualification and have relevant experience leading sport sessions.
Athletics – Athletics coach qualification
Football – Children’s Coaching Certificate
Gymnastics – Level 2 or equivalent
Tennis – Level 2 or equivalent
You will work on an as and when required basis.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.
