Falkirk Council’s Sport Development team are recruiting Cycling Coaches as we look to further develop Cycling in Falkirk and provide more opportunities to cycle at our existing schools and cycling facilities. Our cycling facilities include Zetland Park Pump Track and a new development at Calendar Park, following almost £300,000 of funding from sportscotland’s Cycling Facilities Fund, Falkirk Council and Paths for All.

We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals, who will deliver fun, safe and engaging cycling coaching sessions. You will deliver cycling sessions based on the “Mini Riders” programme by Scottish Cycling and deliver at schools within our  Active Schools and community based session as part of our Sports Development programme.

As a head coach we are looking for individuals with a passion and interest in cycling, experience and enthusiasm of working with young people and with availability to deliver coaching sessions afterschool, early evening and at weekends.

We are looking for candidates with an Intro to Cycling Qualification or a cycling qualification that allows you to lead group coaching sessions on your own.

You will work on an as and when required basis.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
