Based within Falkirk Council’s corporate Health, Safety & Wellbeing team and predominantly working with Falkirk Council’s Place Services you will be educated to Diploma level (NEBOSH) in Health and Safety, or equivalent. You will have a proven track record of providing advice on health and safety activities within multi-site environments including those involving waste management, roads and fleet management.
The ability to demonstrate excellent communication and report writing skills is also essential. In addition you will bring with you a working knowledge of Microsoft office packages, including Excel, allowing you to produce statistics and reports as necessary. The ability to develop and deliver training on a wide range of health and safety topics, undertake audits and investigate significant workplace incidents will also be part of the role.
Experience of working within a Local Authority would be advantageous.
