Could you be our next Housing Officer within our West Housing team?
In this role you will help to deliver high quality customer service over a geographical area that will ensure the organisational aims, objectives and performance standards are met and enforced or exceeded in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies, procedures and best practice guidance, and within available budget parameters
What we are looking for…
The ideal person for this role should have the Chartered Institute of Housing Level 2 or equivalent, excellent numeracy and literacy, experience working as part of a team, in a front-line customer service environment, the ability to organise competing demands and experience using MS office packages.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.

This role offers hybrid working, allowing employees to work both from home and in Council locations, to support business needs however most of the time will be spent out in the community. We promote a balanced approach, ensuring staff have the right environment to collaborate with colleagues while also having the option to work independently when appropriate.
This post is temporary until September 2026 to cover a period of secondment.
