Join Our HR Reward Team as an Experienced HR Assistant (20 hours, permanent)

We’re looking for a proactive and skilled Human Resources Assistant to join our HR Reward Team. If you’re an experienced HR Assistant who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys working in a team to deliver high‑quality support, we’d love to hear from you.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the Council’s redeployment policy and process, using your organisational strengths to provide clear, confident guidance to both managers and employees. Your responsibilities will range from handling queries and supporting job searches to keeping accurate records that help ensure a smooth and supportive redeployment experience.

Where time allows, you’ll also provide vital administrative support across job evaluation and job sizing and contribute to wider research and project work that shapes how our HR Reward team delivers its services.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• An SVQ Level 3 in Business Administration, a Certificate in Personnel/Human Resource Practice, or an equivalent qualification
• Experience managing competing priorities
• Sound knowledge of current HR issues and HR administration procedures
• Confident use of Microsoft Office
• Excellent organisational skills

Experience working with trade unions and in a public sector or political environment would be an advantage.

This is a hybrid role, giving you the flexibility to work from home as well as from our HQ in Larbert.
