Could you be our next HR Business Partner within our HR Operations team?

In this role, you will provide a customer focused HR advisory service, working in strategic partnership with senior management.  You will also undertake disciplinary investigations, preparing and presenting reports to senior managers. You will identify strategic HR options and solutions for the efficient and effective delivery of the Council and Service objectives.

What we are looking for.

The ideal person for this role will have excellent communication skills, including presentation, coaching and report writing skills. You will also be able to demonstrate organisational skills and an analytical and clear approach to problem solving.

As an experienced HR Business Partner you will be qualified to degree level or equivalent together with Chartered Membership of the CIPD.  You’ll have experience of dealing with competing demands in a busy HR environment, knowledge of current relevant employment legislation and experience of MS Office packages.

Ideally you will have experience working with trade unions and experience working in a public sector or political environment.
