Join us in shaping the future of health and social care commissioned services

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised and motivated Support Officer to join our HSCP Commissioning Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and be part of developing the service that supports commissioning, procurement and contract management activities across health and social care. You will gain valuable experience across commissioning, procurement and contract management while making a real difference to people's lives.

As a key member of the team, you will provide high-quality administrative, business and project support, helping to coordinate meetings, maintain accurate records, contract documentation and performance information, support reporting processes and contribute to the development of new systems and ways of working.

You will have:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience providing administrative or business support, including knowledge of all Microsoft packages
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

The Partnership brings together colleagues from across Falkirk Council and NHS Forth Valley, and partners in the third and independent sectors. The HSCP delivers operational services across local social work offices, health centres, GP practices, community hospitals, care homes, intermediate care facilities, and day centres amongst other services.

The Commissioning Team is central to this work, supporting the planning, procurement, monitoring and continuous improvement of services across a range of care groups and service areas.

This post is temporary until March 2028 to cover a temporary project.

If you are enthusiastic, organised and keen to contribute to improving health and social care services, we'd love to hear from you. Please contact Suzanne Thomson, Commissioning Lead to arrange a discussion at suzanne.thomson@falkirk.gov.uk

Thank you for considering furthering your career with Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership.
