We are seeking to appoint an experienced social work manager to join our team of 3 Locality Managers.

As an enthusiastic, inspirational leader with extensive management experience within complex organisations, you will provide leadership, vision, and direction in the delivery of functional areas of responsibility.

You will assist the Head of Children and Justice Services and the Senior Service Manager to manage and develop Children and Families Social Work services.

You will provide positive and strong value-based leadership to empower practitioners to create a lasting difference for our children, individuals, families, and communities.

You will ensure effective financial controls are in place and the service is providing best value for the Council.

You will have a proven record of effective partnership working and leading change in a complex public sector environment.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.

This post is temporary until July 2027 due to service requirement.
