We are seeking a compassionate, motivated and highly organised Multi‑Skilled Advisor to join our team. In this frontline role, you will help ensure that vulnerable people in our community can access the support they need. Your work will directly tackle social exclusion, poverty, disadvantage, and discrimination by delivering high‑quality advice, guidance and practical assistance across a wide range of financial, welfare and benefit matters.

Working within one of our three Hubs and supporting a variety of outreach locations, you will provide vital assistance to individuals and families experiencing financial or personal challenges. You will play a key role in helping customers access essential council services and support schemes, including Housing Benefit, Council Tax Reduction, Discretionary Housing Payments, the Scottish Welfare Fund, free school meals, clothing grants, and more.

This role requires an IRRV Level 3 Certificate in Local Taxation, Welfare Benefits and Administration, or an HNC (or equivalent qualification), or significant relevant experience.

This post is temporary until March 2027 due to service requirement.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to carry out a Disclosure Scotland check, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.
