At Falkirk, our 8,000 colleagues across four services work together to improve outcomes for our communities. We are now recruiting an Organisational Development (OD) Adviser to support positive change and strengthen organisational capability.
What we are looking for…
You will be an experienced practitioner with a passion for enabling people and teams to perform at their best. You will communicate confidently, listen well, ask insightful questions and bring people together to explore challenges and solutions that support meaningful change.
Working as part of a small specialist team, you will support strategic programmes of work including employee experience and engagement, leadership and management development, and building a culture of learning.
You will lead and contribute to organisational development and design initiatives that enhance leadership capability, strengthen management practice and improve organisational effectiveness and performance. Examples include designing and delivering training, development and engagement activities, promoting and developing internal networks, creating learning resources, preparing reports and guidance documents.
This is a varied role requiring creativity, strong stakeholder engagement, planning and organisational skills to manage multiple priorities. You will use data, feedback and evidence to inform decisions and you will build relationships and influence confidently at all levels.
You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent experience) and hold, or be working towards, membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. CIPD). You will be digitally confident, using Microsoft 365 to develop written content, surveys and to facilitate virtually and in person.
Experience in the public or third sector, or political or partnership environments, is helpful but not essential. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and value transferable skills. What matters most is your curiosity, motivation and your demonstrable ability to design and deliver interventions that help people and organisations grow and succeed.
