About the role

As our Performance & Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead the development of a strong, integrated approach to performance and quality across health and social care. You will ensure that data and insight are used effectively to support decision-making, drive improvement, and provide assurance to senior leaders and the Integrated Joint Board.

The role goes beyond reporting, it is about shaping how we measure what matter, focusing on outcomes for people and communities, and ensuring our services deliver real, sustainable impact.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Brings strong experience in measuring outcomes and impact
• Can translate complex data into clear insight and compelling strategic narrative
• Is confident working across partnerships and complex systems
• Can provide constructive challenge and assurance at a senior level
• An experienced leader who is able to get the best from the team they manage

Experience with outcomes-based approaches, including OKRs is desirable

Candidates should demonstrate significant experience in designing and implementing approaches to measure outcomes, rather than activity and output, with a clear ability to link performance data to strategic priorities and impact for people in Falkirk and District. This includes developing meaningful indicators, using data to assess progress against outcomes, and translating insight into intelligence to ensure service improvement and assurance for senior leaders and board members.

Experience of working in complex systems, such as health and social care partnerships, and aligning performance frameworks to national outcomes or regulatory requirements is highly desirable.

Familiarity with Outcomes-Based Approaches, including the use of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) is advantageous, with the ability to set clear, measurable objectives and track delivery through defined, evidence-based results that support continuous improvement and accountability.
