We are currently looking for a confident, highly motivated person to be a School Leisure Assistant / Pool Lifeguard at St Mungo’s High School.
Your main duties will be the supervision of all areas of the pool and changing areas and ensure service to users, equipment provision, facility cleanliness and other required duties to be delivered to a high standard.
You will report to the Head of Department on a daily basis and be expected to employ a high degree of initiative and enthusiasm at all times. You will be required to interact and communicate respectfully with staff and young people on a daily basis.
The successful candidate should possess RLSS or STA Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
Previous experience of work within the leisure industry would be an advantage.
You will work 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum on a term time basis (school term time).
The successful candidate will be required to attain/maintain PVG membership and will be responsible for the costs of joining the scheme if they are not already a member.
