You will support the Resource Centre Manager in the effective running and development of a Resource Centre for Adults with Disabilities.  The service is open 5 days a week and provides services for Adults across the Falkirk Council Area both building based and in the community.

Candidates will have proven supervisory experience in a care setting, experience of co-ordinating care services to meet service needs, experience of working with adults who have physical disabilities and learning disabilities and experience of providing effective leadership and supervision to a large staff group.

Candidates will be experienced in resource management and service/building health and safety. Candidates will have knowledge and experience of working jointly with other professionals to ensure a high standard of care and support for all individuals attending the service.

Candidates will be skilled in assessing complex Service User needs and producing support plans, risk assessments that ensure Service Users are provided with a service which is based on compassion, dignity and positive outcomes.

You must hold a minimum qualification of SVQ Level 3 in Social Care or HNC in Social Care.

Currently you are not required to be registered with the SSSC however we anticipate this may change in the future and when required the successful candidate will be expected to register with the SSSC.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
