Senior Early Years Officer (Langlees Early Learning and Childcare Centre) Post ID CS7005 A vacancy has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Early Years Officer at Langlees Early Learning and Childcare Centre to cover a maternity leave. The successful candidate will assist in the management and provision of early learning and childcare service within the school. You should have sound knowledge of current early learning and childcare provision and procedures with extensive experience of working with children from birth to 5 years. You will hold an HNC in Childcare and Education, an SNNB Certificate or equivalent qualification. You should hold a qualification to allow registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). Experience or knowledge of outdoor learning/forest nursery approach would be advantageous. The post is part time (14.8 hours working Thursday and Friday), and is on a term time plus 4 weeks contract. Langlees ELC Centre remains open during the school summer holiday period. Please note salary will be adjusted for part time and term time +4 working. The ELC Centre is open 8am to 6pm and you must be prepared to work a shift pattern between these hours. The post is temporary until Friday 9th October 2026 initially. If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
