We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with knowledge and experience of delivering professional care and support to individuals with a variety of care needs as well as having knowledge in working with people with learning disabilities and complex care.  You must be able to demonstrate skills in assessment, recording, and communication with others, whilst being flexible and positive in your approach. Working as part of a team is a big part of what we do here in Thornton Gardens as well as working on your own with service users delivering a high standard of care.

This is an exciting opportunity within Thornton Gardens short breaks service, this will be a fulltime post working a 37-hour week over a rota basis, this includes long days 14 hours per shift and working 1 weekend in 3 this allows for a better work life balance. Out of hours payments are paid for after 8pm and there are also opportunities for over time to cover annual leave/ staff shortages. Thornton Gardens is a short breaks service based in Bonnybridge Falkirk, we facilitate guests and their families within our community with a period of respite, ensuring we deliver a high standard of care working with a person-centred approach. Our guests are at the forefront of everything we do here, ensuring the SSSC and care service standards are incorporated into our delivery of care and support.

Candidates must have or be willing to work towards an SVQ 3.
