Grahamston House is resource centre/care home for older individuals living with dementia and associated physical health conditions.
You will be responsible, as part of a team, for the provision of high-quality person-centred care for each individual. Have knowledge and experience of good care practice in meeting the needs of older people with dementia and those who are clinically frail.
The successful candidate will demonstrate skills in assessment, support planning and recording. You will hold excellent communication skills, be experienced in multidisciplinary working, demonstrate a flexible and positive approach to ensure the best outcomes for the individuals we support.
An SVQ 3 in Social Care is desirable and you must be able to register with the SSSC and qualify within the regulatory timescale of three years.
This post is a 12 month temporary Social Care Worker post. Working 37 hrs hours a week, on a rota/shift basis and includes working weekends.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
