Social Care Worker (Casual)

We are looking for casual social care workers to join our team and work within our five care services.  This includes providing care and support to individuals living with dementia, mental/physical illness, learning disability and those who require support within a reablement model to return home where possible.

You will be responsible, as part of a multidisciplinary team, for the provision of high-quality person-centred care for each individual.  You must have knowledge and experience of good care practice in meeting the needs/outcomes of the individuals we support.  You will be able to demonstrate skills in assessment and recording and should be able to communicate effectively and have a flexible and positive approach. 

An SVQ 3 in Social Care is desirable and you must be able to register with the SSSC and qualify within the regulatory timescale years.

There are a number of casual social care worker posts, where the successful candidates would backfill shifts on days and/or nights on an as required basis.  Our services provide twenty-four-hour care and support, working shifts and weekends.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
