There are 2 posts:
AS1882 - 14.25 hours per week on a rota basis and includes working weekends.
AS1883 - 19 hours per week on a night shift rota basis and includes working weekends.
Grahamston House is resource centre/care home for older individuals living dementia on a long term basis and for frail older people on an interim basis.
You will be responsible, as part of a team, for the provision of high quality direct care for each individual.
You must have knowledge and experience of good care practice in meeting the needs of older people with dementia and those who are clinically frail. You will be able to demonstrate skills in assessment and recording and should be able to communicate effectively and have a flexible and positive approach.
An SVQ 3 in Social Care is desirable and you must be able to register with the SSSC and qualify within the regulatory timescale of three years.
These posts are temporary for 12 months until March 2027.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain and maintain PVG scheme membership.
