Justice Social Workers – Assessment & Case Management Team:

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives and contribute to safer communities? Falkirk’s Justice Social Work Service is expanding, and we’re looking for passionate, skilled, and forward-thinking social workers to join our Assessment & Case Management Team.

At Falkirk, we take pride in our values: human rights, social justice, and professional integrity. We celebrate diversity and strive to reflect the communities we serve. Our team is committed to trauma-informed, strengths-based, and relationship-focused practice.

As a Justice Social Worker in Falkirk, you’ll play a key role in supporting individuals involved in the justice system to make positive changes and reduce reoffending. You’ll work within a multi-agency framework to promote rehabilitation and public protection.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and managing risk using accredited tools (LS/CMI, SARA, SA07, Stable & Acute).
  • Preparing high-quality reports for courts, parole boards, and partner agencies.
  • Delivering statutory supervision for individuals subject to community orders and licences.
  • Collaborating with Police, Courts, Prisons, and third-sector organisations.
  • Contributing to MAPPA, RMCCs, and case reviews.
  • Supporting reintegration and promoting desistance through person-centred interventions.

Why Choose Falkirk?

We offer:

  • A supportive and inclusive team culture.
  • Opportunities to shape how we work and deliver services.
  • Bespoke training and career development.
  • Flexible and mobile working options.
  • Competitive salary and generous annual leave.
  • Local Government Pension Scheme.
  • Employee benefits and rewards programme.

Who Can Apply?

We welcome applications from:

- Qualified social workers registered with the SSSC and eligible to work in the UK.

- Final-year social work students, preferably with experience in a justice setting.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.

Interested?

If you’re passionate about justice social work and ready to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you.
