An exciting opportunity has arisen for three Support Engineers to join the Infrastructure, Collaboration and Technology Team. As we provide technical IT support to staff across the Council, this is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to make a positive contribution to key areas of Service provision and to gain experience and new skills.

The successful candidate will provide first line technical support to users across the Council. You will be required to assist with support covering a range of software applications, and IT hardware. You will need excellent people skills and be able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels within the organisation. As a team player you will be able to innovative and help staff to work effectively in a hybrid environment, including both home working and office-based work.   

We are looking for a highly motivated IT professional, with excellent IT technical skills, a wide-ranging knowledge, and a proven ability to deliver support. You will also assist technical projects, including building on the Council Microsoft Office 365 implementation. You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

As well as having experience working with suppliers, you will need to be highly motivated to drive forward positive change, enjoy working with others, and have a track record of providing customer focused IT support. You should ideally be educated to degree level.

 You will work 37 hours per week.
