You will be part of a team that provides an efficient, professional and comprehensive support service for a large secondary school.
You will be providing teacher and pupil support to enhance pupil achievement. As required at advanced level, this post holder will be based primarily within our Health Faculty to assist the Home Economics Department with class preparations for practical teaching classes. It would be advantageous if applicants already held a Food Hygiene certificate, if not please note that the successful candidate must undertake this training.
You will also undertake a wide range of whole school support activities and pupil support with regards to the general supervision, safety, care and wellbeing of the pupils which may include covering our medical provision
Good communication and organisational skills are required and you should enjoy working as part of a team. You should have some experience of working with children, ideally in an educational setting. Successful candidates must also undertake training in manual Handling and First Aid.
This post is temporary until April 2027 due to service requirement.
