Falkirk Council are looking to recruit a Support for Learning Assistant for the Thistle Wing and Annexe Severe Complex Needs provision at Kinnaird Primary School. You will provide support for teachers to enhance experiences and achievement for children. You will undertake a range of support activities with regard to general supervision, safety, care and well-being of the children.
Good communication skills are essential and the role will require supporting children with severe and complex additional support needs. You should enjoy working as part of a team. Experience in this sector is not always required, but we look forward to welcoming people who are nurturing, loving and patient. Extensive training will be provided throughout your time here.
You will work 30 hours per week on a term time basis.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
