Falkirk Council are looking to recruit a Support for Learning Assistants for Shieldhill Primary School’s Enhanced Provision Base & Hallglen Primary School’s Enhanced Provision Base. You will provide support for teachers and children to enhance experiences and achievement for pupils. You will undertake a range of support activities with regards to general supervision, safety, care and well-being of the children.
Good communication skills are essential and the role will require you to provide a high level of support for children with a range of needs including but not limited to personal care, mobility, ASD and ADHD. You should work well as part of a team and be flexible in your approach within the workplace.
The hours for the posts are as follows:
Shieldhill Primary - 22.5 hours per week on a term time basis. Your working pattern will be Mon-Fri 9.00am-1.30pm
Hallglen Primary – 25 hours per week on a term time basis. Your working Pattern will be Mon-Fri.
Both posts are temporary until June 2026 due to service requirement.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
