Falkirk Council are looking to recruit a Support for Learning Assistant (Grade E) for Ladeside Primary School. You will be based in an ASC room (Additional Support Class) which is a class for children with Stage 4 additional support needs.
You will provide support for teachers and pupils to enhance pupil well-being, engagement and achievement. Undertake a range of whole school support activities and pupil support with regard to pupils’ complex healthcare needs, language and communication needs, as well as general supervision and safety for children with profound and multiple learning difficulties and/or physical impairment.
Good communication skills are essential and the role will require supporting children with a wide range of needs. You should enjoy working as part of a team.
You will work 27.5 hours per week on a term time basis. Your working pattern will be Monday to Friday – 9.00am to 3.00pm.
These are permanent positions.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.
