We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join Falkirk Council’s Sport & Leisure Team in the role of Team Leader.

Working as part of a passionate and ambitious service, you will play a vital role in the delivery of quality sport and leisure programmes, supporting health and wellbeing outcomes for our communities. You will lead from the front, ensuring our venues are safe, welcoming, and provide excellent customer experiences every day.

As a Sport & Leisure Team Leader, you will:

• Lead, support and motivate staff across our key leisure facilities and service areas.
• Manage the day-to-day operation of venues and services, ensuring high standards of delivery, safety, and customer service.
• Support the implementation of business and operational plans with a focus on income growth, participation, and efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to promote our services and develop new opportunities.
• Champion Falkirk’s sport and leisure offer, supporting community impact and customer satisfaction.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a strong background in sport, leisure, or related service delivery.
• Brings experience of leading teams and driving performance improvements.
• Understands the importance of health & safety, service compliance, and excellent customer engagement.
• Is motivated, organised, and committed to delivering positive outcomes for the community.
• Can demonstrate flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
