Help shape the future of health and social care in Falkirk
Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is progressing a significant programme of change to ensure services remain sustainable, person‑centred, and responsive to the needs of our communities. Serving a population of over 160,000 across both rural and urban areas, the Partnership brings together the strengths of Falkirk Council, NHS Forth Valley, and local third and independent sector organisations.
We are seeking an experienced Transformation Programme Manager to support this work and play a key role in delivering improvements across health and social care services.
About the role
This is an important leadership role within the Transformation Team. You will:
- Lead major transformation programmes aligned to the Integration Joint Board’s Strategic Plan.
- Provide oversight of multiple projects, ensuring clear scope, benefits, milestones, governance, and risk management.
- Work collaboratively with service leads, clinicians, managers, and partner organisations to design and deliver integrated, person‑centred improvements.
- Develop programme reporting frameworks to evidence progress and support decision‑making.
- Contribute to innovation, continuous improvement, and long‑term sustainability across the Partnership.
- Deputise for the Transformation Lead when required.
About you
You will bring:
- Significant experience of leading complex transformation, service redesign, or programme management.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across professional and organisational boundaries.
- Experience in programme governance, benefits realisation, and managing risk.
- Confidence in guiding and supporting teams through change.
A relevant degree and postgraduate qualification (or equivalent experience) are essential.
Why Falkirk HSCP?
This is a period of development for the Partnership, with new service structures and a strong focus on collaboration. You will join a supportive senior team committed to improvement, innovation, and delivering high‑quality, sustainable services.
Falkirk offers a central location, excellent transport links, and a wide range of cultural, leisure, and outdoor opportunities.
Employment
You may choose to be employed by Falkirk Council or NHS Forth Valley. Both offer:
- Competitive salary and pension
- Hybrid and flexible working opportunities
- Generous annual leave
- Supportive policies and commitment to equality, diversity, and wellbeing
A Disclosure Scotland / PVG will be required.
